Welcome to the WCF website.  Whitehaven Cycle Fundraisers are a group of cyclists who specialise in long distance rides for local beneficiaries.  Based in Whitehaven, Cumbria and founded in 2002 we have so far raised well over £23,000 and cycled in excess of 990 miles in order to raise money for local charities.

LATEST NEWS

We've done it!  28 riders completed the ride from Whitehaven to Edinburgh in horrendous conditions on Sat 6th June 09.  Total Distance 135miles.  Well done to everyone and thanks to Andy & John for driving support vans.

Riders departed Whitehaven @ 5:30am and for the first 45miles it was very wet.  Fortunately the sun started to shine after approx 60miles with only a North Easterly head wind to hamper our progress into Edinburgh.  Well done to all riders. A great effort !!!

A big thanks to John (Titch) & Andy (Tet) for driving the vans. The assistance they provided throughout the day was superb.
