Welcome to the WCF website.  Whitehaven Cycle Fundraisers are a group of cyclists who specialise in long distance rides for local beneficiaries.  Based in Whitehaven, Cumbria and founded in 2002 we have so far raised well over £23,000 and cycled in excess of 990 miles in order to raise money for local charities.

 

Final amount raised for the 2009 ride is £6700.  A great effort.  Thanks to all involved.

We have now presented a cheque to Gillian Chadwick from Hospice at Home West Cumbria.  Gillian has calculated that she can also claim £986 in Gift Aid donations through sponsorship forms. Thanks again to all involved.

 

Edinburgh 2009

A big thanks to John (Titch) & Andy (Tet) for driving the vans. The assistance they provided throughout the day was superb.
